The Funky Lowlives 12" is out (for about 2 weeks now). Nice and jazzy but
more in their downbeat mode than their latiny house mode (perhaps why it's
out on G-Stone rather than on Ascension). We have it in stock right now,
    too.

The Boozoo Bajou LP is out and does include their singles (but not all the
b-sides or remixes). It's a little too dubby and slow for me (mind you I
like dubby and slow, just it's a little too monochrome for me).

Saw this on the G-Stone website the other day. Anyone
know where you can find this online? Is it even out
    yet?

I've been really diggin all the Lowlives' stuff. Great
textured rhythms fused with Latin sensabilities. Their
remixes seem to be a bit better than some of their own
material. I personally am in love with their flip of
Jack "Mr. Bongo" Constanzo's "Quimbara." Also, their
remix of Bah Samba's "Black Blood" (anyone know where
this is from? I only have an MP3) is amazing.

I was surprised they were on G-Stone and not Stereo
Deluxe. Also, anyone heard the new Boozoo Bajou album.
Someone told me a lot of the songs have already been
    issued.
