Recently, I've been trying to explore the world of ambient music. However,
to my dismay, I cannot find that many artists of my liking. I have been
sticking to Eno and his collaborators. Music For Airports is superb. Every
time I listen to it, it takes me on a more intense journey. Also, passengers
is unreal, except I don't know if you would really classify this as ambient.
Eno's work with John Cale on Wrong Way Up has a lot of good atmospheres and
textures, and I enjoy it, but not as much as his chilled out Music For
Airports or Atmospheres. Anyone have any suggestions for excellent ambient
    music? Thanks.

Govinda -Erotic Rhythms of Earth- Downtempo with Spacey Acid Violin
    Harold Budd
Daniel Lanois -Acadie- French Canadien Spacey Floating Cajun-Esque Trip
Music. One of my all time favorites, No matter what Genre.
Steve Roach -Dreamtime Return- Simply Flawless and Dreamy
    Robert Rich
Steve Roach and Robert Rich Collaborations
    Nik Tyndall
    Michael Schrieve
Axiom Ambient series with Bill Laswell
    R. Carlos Nakai -Canyon Trilogy- Spacious Ambient Native Flute at its best.
Morcheeba's -First CD -Who can you Trust- Its got a Trippy Cajun Vibe going.
    Eno with Jah Wobble
    Wm. Orbit
    Terje Rypdal

    -Jeremy

These are just a few. Some are going to be more Jazz oriented but one thing
they all have in common is the Spaciousness and the closing of the eyes to
Journey outward or inward. Happy Trails!!!

    Semper Motociclismo,

    Pace'
