Jeremy,
Shpongle - They have 1 album out and 1 about to be released, I can't
recommend these highly enough, Simon Posford is a genius!
The Infinity Project - Mystical Experiences, another one for the trippy
amongst us!
The KLF - Chill Out, an absolute must have for ambient groovers, it even
includes a bit by Elvis, get it!
try the Biosphere albums, they are all good!
Return To The Source - Ambient Meditations, this has some excellent music
and it covers a broad spectrum of music!
Tone Tales From Tomorrow by Coldcut, there are two of them, both good, both
very trippy, highly recommended!
Tales of Ephidrina by Amorphous Androgynous who are really FSOL, a good
album for any true psychedelicists
The Big Chill series is also good, I have 2 of them Vibes and Eyelid Movies
both great!
Stoned...Chilled... Groove, another Coldcut winner!
Quango did a series called A Journey Into The Ambient Groove that has some
worthwhile stuff on the different discs, I have #s 3 & 4
Incoming produced a series called Serenity Dub that is excellent although
very dubby but I have nos 1,2 & 3
The Orb is one of my fave ambient artists
Eclipse on Twisted Records is another one of my favorites!
Global Communications - Remotion
Lights In A Fat City - Somewhere - for the didge inclined!
Ambient Dub - another good series I have vol. 3!
Ben Neill - is a musician who is both ambient and out there, I love
Triptycal
I have tried to suggest things no-one else seems to have suggested on the
list, some of these discs may be hard to find!
