I would like to present myself...
My name is Rafael, my friends call me Zuzuwah. I am a brazilian
boy living in london for almost 4 years now, got some projects
going on here, one is an acid jazz band with bossa nova influence
and the other is a samba-house project with a friend. I play the
guitar and the tenor sax and I used to subscribe to this list back in
brasil in 97.
I got special interest right now on world jazz, from the alikes of Les
Nubians, Jazzanova, 99 Posse, Almamegretta, Manu Chao,
Smadj, well, lots of things. I appreciate a lot brazilian jazz too, my
main influence anyway. Particularly Jorge Ben, banda Black Rio,
Ed Motta, bebeto, and so on.
Well, I hope we get along well, and catch up to u later :)
