here's my take, and some interesting links, I sent to
to another list I'm on. There are 2 messages here, one
more refined. one small point, when I was a kid, all
the ambiguity about sex and other offensives just
confused the hell out of me and made me think about it
all the time, paranoid that I was unknowlingly using
yet another dirty euphemism that i hadn't learned yet.
More info would have helped me sort things out I
think, and even then I knew my limits and wouldn't
watch certain movies when they gave me the creeps.
Knowledge is power, every tool is a weapon if you hold
it right, the only acceptable way to fight negative
speech is with more speech, etc etc.

Please forward widely. Also, note that the head of
the FCC is Colin Powell's son. Also note that Colin
Powell sits on the board of AOL, and the AOL-Time
Warner merger had to be approved by the FCC, and
Michael Powell voted to approve the merger while he
was on the 5-member board of the FCC, before he was
    appointed chairman.

) Very interesting. Also note this song has
been around since 1999 and suddenly, a few months into
the Bush administration it is suddenly bannable. I
propose that all DJs who get this pull their copy,
even go buy doubles, and cane the hell out of it.
Also, can we organize such that DJs across the country
play it all at the same time during their gigs/shows
on a couple selected dates? Shall we pull US-style
propaganda tactitcs and just blare it non-stop 24/7
outside Michael Powell's window until he desists? ;-)
