<Wow, I just finally got the Spacek album "Curvatia" yesterday and
it is tripped out. This is a sound i always wanted to hear. Bloopy,
hiphop, chilled, very spacey and thoughtful... yeah.. this is cool.
COOOL. this is something that if people heard could really cross over into
the r&b crowd crowd. if this guy had a video on BET he'd blow up in a
    major way.>

I was gonna pick me up a copy yesterday, but instead opted for the
Two Banks of Four: City Watching, Remix Album, which, after an initial
listen, I'm not too excited about. Most of the tracks are well below the
originals with only 4 or 5 tunes rousing my interest, of which, the final 3
cuts (new tunes?) were the most engaging. I'll keep spinning it over the
next couple of weeks and see if it grows on me, but at the mo I doubt it.

To make up for the disappointed of yore, I'll shell out for the
Spacek disc today, hopefully it'll speak to me on this hot, midweek, summers
    day.

            Willy

P.S. George Clinton is Playing Dublin, Ireland, in a couple of
weeks, its some Parliament/Funkadelic thing, anyone know if this is worth
checking out? I was wondering as the tickets are £33.50 ($45) which is well
    steep.
