Shinichi Osawa's new single..
r u refering to Bird's mermaid 3000??
-----
I think he is referring to the Hiroshi Fujiwara & Shinichi Osawa with
Crystal Kay track called "Lost Child" that is apart of the Tribute Link
collection. It sounds interesting but I don't know if I can get into
Crystal's Japanese vocals. They are soulful but I heard she is quite
childlike so maybe the vocals are bad. There is an instrumental and an
orchestral version on the CD single and 12" vinyl too.
You can check the video and the song out at:

BTW, bird is released "Sakura" sometime in March with this very chambered
and awesome Mad Professor dub! I think it should be good. I don't know if
I am going to dig on bird's vocals. Vinyl will be released afterwards. I
totally didn't like "Mermaid 3000" though, even "Mindtravel" wasn't great.
There is a great song on the album though called "Clay". That's a fine
Shinichi programmed movement!

Good luck with michiru Akiyoshi, what's the cover looks like and album
title?... I wish you the best of luck...I'll consult with my Japanese
source.

Is she related to the hard bop jazz pianist Toshiko Akiyoshi? I know Monday
has some sort of roots in the jazz field with her parents. Does anybody
know if the IG Culture and Ananda Project remixes are still coming out?
They were supposed to come out with 4 Seasons but I guess nothing has
happened!
How was the Play It By Ear single? The song sort of reminds me of
commercial pop but I heard a batucada version that sounded interesting but
the lack of knowledge from anyone on this release must be quite small.
The best that Monday ever got was definitely Incognito's Caporeira Remix of
Yellow Bird! Nice!

I just got a Monday Michiru: falling forward. : ]

The 12" of this is nice because you get the instrumental which isn't on the
CD. Sames goes for the Introspection 12". You get Changes as an
instrumental. Nice!
Oh yeah, BTW, the first Monday album is very poppish. Watch out!
