    Hey Aaron...

Is Dazzle an Anthony Nicholson joint? Have you heard Sunshine on
Nitegrooves yet? The main track is nice but there is this sort of musipella
type of groove in there with a fretted double bass sound in there...
    Awesome!

Have you heard Peven's downtempo soul stuff yet? I'm dying to see what the
guy has up his sleeve! The Figarro on Diaspora was kind of nice in a Lil
Louis sort of way, that's totally what it reminded me of. I'm glad that
these jams found their way onto Clairaudience though.

I still haven't heard "New Yorker In Dollis Hill" but I heard "Ebisu
Gardens" and "Holograms". "Ebisu Gardens" is definitely more of that tech
step stuff but "Holograms" is this new track with Azymuth in it, elements
from both bands. The drum n bass territory meeting Brazilian soul jazz.
Almost jam session style. That "Amazon" remix was weird though because it
was played on GPWW about a year and a half ago and it is now just getting
released, I guess at least it is...

Mark Pritchard also remixed "Pieces Of Ipanema" which is supposed to be
really good. I can't wait but I'm a little confused, maybe Misturada 5?
Azymuth have already released a fourth album through Far Out called "Before
We Forget" and the song in question was from last album. Maybe they'll get
Kyoto Jazz Massive to remix "Mimosa" since they were so in love with it!

I don't know, I thought the actual "Ready For Us" track sucked but the
"Prophet" was quite nice. That's interesting to know. What did the cats
think of the Maurice Fulton album, Ladyvipb. Honestly, it's a little too
meaty and beaty. Not enough gravy to smooth over with...

Yeah, the album is nice. Some of it is a little dry considering Jay Dee's
standards but then again, this is the beat generation. Didn't you feel
though that a lot of the tracks were very short... "Rico Suave Bossanova"
is only a minute and a half long. Jaydee's tribute to EWF is really nice
with the woodblocks but again a minute and under a half minutes long...
