I wonder if you are referring to Rassela's. Yes, its a great place to
lounge for a drink or two. Its actually an Ethiopian restaurant by day,
jazz club/bar at night. A great local R&B artist, Ledisi, frequently
performs there. I think she also has regular gig at Cafe Du Nord.
I would also recommend Yoshi's at Oakland, which has great jazz line up's
all the time.
