nomadik & Tempo of the Down!!!,
Track 2. Montego Bay Spleen" with Ernest Ranglin playing Guitar. I
have to
say this is absolutely flawless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
funny...i can't stand this song...
Chalk it up to Differenet Strokes for Different Folks, or different Tokes
for different Strokes, C'est la Vie and such
i like this album a lot. most songs i like, some i don't.
I like the Ranglin song the John Lee Hooker song "Sure Thing" and I think
tracks 8 & 9 and everything else I have been looking for ways just to erase
them off the CD. Someone recommened sandpaper but that just would be
prudent so skipping to the awesome tracks is what I am doing. Tourist is
definite a Love/Hate relationship with me too. Some are gems and the others
are just annoying arsche fodder. I have always enjoyed watching Mike Myers
on Saturday Night Live do that SCHprokets parody, it is funny but that
music!!! Bores Me!!! but it's still funnny. The songs on Tourist that annoy
me are those those sound like they come from that part of the show whe
Dieter anounces "This is part of Zie Show where we Dance".
On a very postive note, I listened to Maxwell's "Embrya" today and the
Maxwell/Stuart Matthewman combo ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am looking forward to hearing the new release which I have heard has been
pushed back till 03 April 2001. Silky, Smooth, Floating Groove, I say bring
it on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Happy Trails!!!
