Tempo of the Down,

I find all of this quite
refreshing. I don't know that many people who even have any concept
of what
acid jazz is, and certainly few of the record or CD stores I have
ever been
in have even heard of the term.

--this is so true....i love acid jazz music and i always have to find
myself explaining what it is to people....

by the way, i'm from boston, mass usa

Hell Fire!!! I get phone calls and emails from my favorite music shop here
in Charleston, South Carolina asking me questions on Acid Jazz/Downtempo.
They say I am the only around these parts that listens to this awesome music
and I will turn the salespersons onto the stuff. Nils Petter Molvaer's
"Solid Ether" http://www.molvaermusic.com is becoming a highly sought out
gem by a few here these days. It is lonely though being the only Kimosabe
around this neck of the woods that listens to Ambient/Acid/Downtempo/Jazz.
It is difficult to explain music to others because I sort of see Music and
Motorcycles in graphic terms. When someone wants you to recommend Acid Jazz
to them, they sort of want a comparison to draw from. In that case I sort
have to say "This will make you wanna get Butt-Friggin' Naked and Bark At
The Moon" Music and Moto's, that is the gig. So if you feel like you are
all alone in your musical endeavors and passions, you aren't there are
people all over the globe who feel our pain and know our ectasy of "Getting
Butt-Friggin' Naked and Barkin' at the Moon". And Oh What a Moon it was
Here in Charleston, South Carolina Saturday Night 10 March 2001. Happy
Trails!!!

Semper Motociclismo,

Pace'
