>Also has anyone picked up any stuff by Intega recently?
The new Intega remix of SEBO K. Feat. VIKTER DUPLAIX on Sonar Kollektive is
wicked! Intega takes it one step further this time with pumpin' off-kilter
two step/broken beats, filtered disco elements (just a little bit) and a way
tuff bassline. If you are familiar with the Forum "Blowing Notes" record
(Forum is Roskoe "Kosma" Kreschtmann(sp?) and Matthias "Mason" Hellwig), the
Sebo K RMX is like the original mix crossed with the Intega two-cut
mix...but a bit harder and darker. Should be a dancefloor killer.
groovedis.com says (from last weeks new releases):
Various/SONAR EP 12"
Limited-edition teaser from the forthcoming SONAR KOLLECTIV compilation
compiled by JAZZANOVA. Feats tracks by SEBO K. Feat. VIKTER DUPLAIX, the
sought-after PATHLESS "TERRACE," and STEREOTON'S "KICK ME OFF."
As far as WHO Intega is...the sonar kollektiv website is very vague about
identifying the two members, but I think it might be the Forum crew...Mason
is definately one of them...anyone else have the inside scoop?
While we are at it, who is Gabor Deutsch? Does he go by Gabor Deutsch on
other recordings or just Gabor? Is he, in fact, German?
Other thoughts...
The Dzihan & Kamien "Refreaked" CD/album is a very nice collection of
chill-side remixes. The Hefner remix is way bad!!! CD will be out in the US
on Six Degrees...
check it,
