    There are a few people from the UK on the list. I'm one of them - though
    I'm actually living in Canada (Vancouver) now.

    OK, so I haven't seen the latest Straight No Chaser, but I've only been
    out of the UK for a month and I wouldn't have described the scene there
    as unhealthy, except for my bank balance. I was spending a fortune on
    new vinyl, largely on the nu-jazz/west london front - I'm actually
    getting withdrawal symptoms now (don't have any way of playing vinyl for
    a while, tho' I'm sure groovedis can supply the plastic.)
