There are are many individual tracks that really do it from a spoken word
point of view, look for Ursula Rucker and her piece "Circe", there are 2
versions, one by King Britt that appears on Voices of Urban Renewal and the
other is mixed by Jazzanova and appears on their Remixes album, your Mom
might just enjoy that whole album. Another is by beanfield from The Season
album. Anyway, Justino, why is it that what your Mom wants is "lame"? Your
attitude sucks, here is a great opportunity to turn her on to some really
great music and all you can come up with is the usual oh well she's a hippy
sort of attitude! Listen I am 50 and still Deejaying and raging more
fiercely than most, why don't you take the chance to turn her on to some
good shit? If you get serious about this and really want some help beyond
the 2 tracks I mentioned above, then contact me and I will be prepared to
help, your Mom is probably younger than me anyway and I should be able to
guide you but lose the attitude pulleez!
