I can concur on the Gentle People recommendation, "superchill-loungecore
with a slab of cheese" at its best....it might be a touch over the top
but if you're after the *cool* element it certainly is there.

the only thing that's remotely like what you describded and cool is the
truly wonderful gentle people 'soundtrack for living' on rephlex (uk) no
dolphins here but lotsa ultra chilled & supa groovesome lounge exotica
soundscapey things...most people find it too much but i love it...um yeah
