Have to agree here, first on satellite, i think i
tried to order from them once and there were stock
problems and the staff wasn't particularly
accomdating. dub spot is great, especially if you can
call them up and get them when they're not too busy.
I've recently made a couple orders (from the US) from
juno and release the groove...release the groove
definitely prices on the high end, but sometimes you
can find stuff there you can't find elsewhere. the
site is NOT ecommerced-out at all, but if you can bite
the bullet and call them, I had good luck. we'll see
how the delivery pans out.
as far as juno(.co.uk), i'm pretty happy with them.
the orders are sent out really fast and arrive in a
reasonable amount of time (i think like a week/ week
and a half) and they respond promptly to email. What
really has me reconsidering, though, is that buying
from overseas (england in particular) ends up costing
just about the same as buying imports over here. The
records start at about $6-$7, and it costs about $2-$4
to ship each, so you end up paying the same as you
would at your local shop, and maybe, just maybe,
you'll be the first kid on the block with your fancy
new record. =) Plus you don't have to deal with the
stress of agonizing over whether or not it's ever
going to make it over here.
