i am using napster.....for checking out tracks i never heard of or i cannot
buy in the stores...i make sure i buy the records when i like them and when
they're available in the stores...so i think it stimulates my purchasing..i
think of it as a convenient way to listen to music instead of going to a
crowded recordstore with people who don't have time to help me or have a
crappy selection..
i wouldn't mind if my music was available on napster as long as it has a
good distribution on vinyl or cd worldwide... most of the people who
download from napster and don't buy the actuall record wouldn't buy it
anyway....so maybe i miss a small percentage of royalties but i think this
cannot compete with the promotion i get for free...
