I don't know about fixing warps, but the Sun is very good at making them. I
remember I used to listen a record in the morning and then leave it propped
against the wall by the record player when I went to school. During one
summer, when it was really hot and sunny I remember coming back home from
school to find the record bent like a boomerang. Several school days and
several records later I realised that while I was at school the Sun was
coming out and shining all day on the particular spot where I would prop the
record. Maybe this glass technique will fix those records I haven't been
able to play since that year.
