I find it hard to agree. I have heard the original from the album for so
many times now, on listening to the remix it gives me that "oh shit, they
sped up the vocals nine times faster remix" goose bumps. That's why I love
the dub version, the music is superb. The MAW type of chorus on the vocal
mix is too processed. I really find it hard to hear vocals that is
unnaturally fast for the sake of a more uptempo remix, unless they re-sing
it to give the new version some soul.

Many sped up vocals become too compressed or unnatural. Much like when they
turn a soulful break track into a 2Step remix. Sometimes it works well, top
of my head being Jill Scott's "Getting in the way" with an M J Cole re-rub
(maybe because she did re-sing it??), but most remixes out there don't work
well. What I want to say really is that a good remix should be about mixing
    music and vocal arrangement too.

An amazing remix of Mondo Grosso is NOW YOU KNOW BETTER with Ananda Project
doing the Remix. "Body & Soul" type feel and more importantly keeping the
integrity of the vocals of the original track. Yum. I want the remix MG4R on
vinyl, anyone know where I can track this down on the net besides going to
    Japan?
