    I remember hearing an NPR story that ran after the last time he was in
    court and made that promise to return from his tour and check into rehab.

    The reporter said that when his band was asked why they didn't stage some
    kind of intervention, they said they were afraid that Gil's creativity
    might be impaired if he stopped doing drugs.

    Now, that sucks.
