i actually didn't like 'mixed illusions' much.
I really do not like saying this but I listened to it last night and it was
absolutely friggin' horrible. What is the point of remixes if they do not
enhance the original? Damn!!! it was like the fodder those Night of the
Roxbury Brothers listen to on SNL. Jeez, Euro-Techno doesn't this stuff
induce epileptic fits?
I really do like the -Illusion- CD and I was hoping for a more downtempo,
spacey atmospheric feel for the remix but Oh No!!! Not a friggin' chance!!!
I really do like her voice and speeding up things just kills the entire mood
that wasa created by the original.
it's nice, but i'm not buying
it - it seems to me that i've heard a lot of similar stuff lately. but maybe
it's just one of those days when nothing sounds good enough, or i need to
listen to some different stuff (silence maybe?).
Try the compilation by http://www.quango.com -Space Jazz- or Thunderball
-Scorpio Rising- or Slide Five -People, Places & Things-
let me know what you guys think about it when you hear it. maybe i'll give
it a second try...
My vote on Soulstice -Mixed Illusions- is for it to be donated to skeet
shooters around the world.
