you're definitely not the only one ... hip hop has been a little less
exciting over the last few years. there's still some good stuff coming out,
but you gotta look. i just bought the Scienz of Life LP and a Roots Manuva
12" (ITal vision) and I'm not complaining.
oh yeah, I just GOT to ask this... did anyone else see a strong similarity
between the bass and drum patterns/sounds on "get your freak on" and 4hero's
"we who are not as others"? I noticed it one day i was playing the sonar
circle remix ... then jumped to the original and I swear Timberland must've
been listening to that record!
