yeah i've been noticing this in my sets also.......i don't know about your
definition of sounding "better" but to me it often sounds a little more
"sleazy" moodymann/parrish kind of style and i like that kind of thing.....
i do have experience with the pioneer and tascam CD players but i must say i
don't really like it....to me the sound gets a little to "granular" ....i
bet this has something to do with the algorithms involved and having to do
the timestretching semi-realtime....cause it can be done really well (check
Acid for a proof f.e.)
