What's up everyone...
I guess I'll give a short introduction. My name is Andrew, I'm an
engineering student here at UCSD and, of course, a music lover. I can
already see that this list has some very hardcore acid jazz lovers from all
over the world.
I have recently (last couple years) gotten into jazz, especially funk,
fusion, acid, etc. A couple of groups I'm diggin' are Jamiroquai (although
Funk Odessey is a little bland), Groove Collective, Liquid Soul, Medeski
Martin & Wood, and just about everything I can (afford to) get my hands on.
I am a bass player and I'm currently putting together a funky, jazzy group
(kinda smooth, kinda funk) with a couple of guys I know here is SD. I always
love jamming with new musicians whenever I can, so drop me a line if you're
here in town.
