    Big week from downtempo, house, nu jazz and 2-step, but not too many big
    releases on the drum & bass or breakbeat tip (every one’s going 2-step
    or breakstep). This would be a good week for you drum & bass and
    breakbeat fans to look over past lists and check out the stock lists for
    some titles that might have slipped by you.

    Remember, the New Releases and Stock sections will be updated every
    Sunday by 3PM CST. These are just a few of the highlights from this
    week's New Releases List.

    Abstract/Downtempo/Leftfield: New Akasha 12", debut 4 tracker on Deep
    Water that features a dope downtempo cut by Bathysphere remixed by
    Quantic, restocks on the Hefner CD, a JTQ "best of" CD, new Lamb 12" and
    album, restocks on the Pelding vinyl, the excellent Royksopp album now
    in on vinyl, new Strata 12" (now on Blue Juice), Tommy Guerrero EP on
    Mo’ Wax (with 2 more tracks than the promo 12" we had), a very nice new
    compilation called "Glisten" done by the Big Chill crew and the
    "Turntables On The Hudson Volume 3" CD gets released.

    Beats 'N' Breaks: Deadly Weapons 12" big with Stanton Warriors, the last
    copies of the Dub Diablo 12" are back in, and the well reviewed new 12"
    on Skint by magazine darlings Sons Of Slough comes in.

    Drum & Bass: New Acrylic 12" on Peshay’s Pivotal label and the Calibre
    album now in on ultra dj-friendly 5 piece vinyl.

    Hip Hop: Repress of the Big L album, straight outta the Midwest comes
    the new EP from Def Harmonic once again sounding like a raw version of
    Digable Planets, and a bunch of French hip hop albums.

    House: New Alexkid 12" with remixes by himself and labelmate Jori
    Hulkkonen, 12" by Ana Rago with remixes by Herbert and I:Cube, new 12"
    on Out Of The Loop by Cai which is getting played by Ashley Beedle, Mr
    Scruff and Rainer Truby, new house single on Art Throb by Dalunartiks,
    two new Disco Galaxy 12"s one that mixes disco with Brazilian sounds and
    one that remixes Michael Jackson’s latest single, new Felix da Housecat
    12", a new Hakan Libdo 12", new Iz & Diz on Classic, Leo Young album on
    Tummy Touch, great house white label from Dino Lenny that uses some Mary
    J Blige vocal to great effect, and the Kings Of Tomorrow mix CD on
    Ministry Of Sound.

    Nu Jazz/Broken Beat: Italian D’Note 12" featuring hard to find remixes
    from their past 12"s, limited Talkin’ Loud double 12" featuring remixes
    of Incognito tracks by 4 Hero, Vikter Duplaix and Ski, new Nos 12" on
    Straight Ahead, awesome new 12" by Suba remixed Zero db and Bigga Bush
    (this 12" was no. 1 on both Gilles Peterson and DJ BNX’s latest Straight
    No Chart Charts), new Tom & Joyce 12" on Yellow, very limited Bossa Tres
    Jazz Box Set from Yellow, a nice compilation from Murena called "Nu Afro
    Latin" with cuts by Allenco Brotherhood, Fussible, Boys From Brazil,
    Robin Jones and more, an excellent new CD from Quiet Riot called
    "Nu*Phusion", "True Spirit 2" CD from Chili Funk, and the latest 12"
    from Compost by the Wordless People.

    2-Step/UK Garage: Two new Genius Cru 12"s, restocks on the So Solid Crew
    remix of Hi-Tek’s "Round & ROund", Jagged Edge’s "Where The Party At"
    gets remixed by 8 Jam, the K2 Family 12" on Relentless comes out for
    real, Kelis’ "Young Fresh And New" gets remixed by So Solid Crew,
    Madison Ave remixed by Zed Bias, Mis-Teeq remixed by Sunship and
    Dubaholics, Nicky Prince gets produced by Zed Bias on a new white label,
    and white labels of a track "Number One" which is mixed by So Solid Crew
    (do these people EVER sleep?).

    Other: Limited stock on a new 7" Record Bag put out by Soul Jazz.
