well, i don't know how the situation is in your contry (the netherlands, i
suppose, ?), but in finland there are some dj:s who buy comps (be it cd or
vinyl) like the pulp fusion series on harmless records for instance, and
play the rare tracks out of them whereas some people spend all their money,
time and energy in tracking the original items.

i think it's cheating and taking the (too) easy way out if a deejay only
plays out rare tracks from compilation albums, be it whatever audio format.

so maybe that easiness that annoys me a bit. i'm not against comps but i
find using them only and not even once bothering to try and find the
originals (some of them even ain't that rare) quite irritating.

well, there are some people i know who borrow their mates records and copy
them on cd-r:s. then they play these copied records out on clubs. that i
find some cheating as well. but maybe it's better to blame the persons who
    borrow the records for stupidness..:)

well, don't take all this whining _too_ seriously, there are many more
important and worse problems in the world..

    peace out,
