There's a small growing movement afoot to make it a point of patronizing
American of Arab/Pakistani/Afghan/Iranian descent owned or operated
restaurants and other small businesses in the aftermath of this crisis, to
help counteract some of the anti-Arab hysteria and flag-waving that is
building, and to help counteract the business losses that some of these
business people are going to face here in the US from the prejudice of a
few.
So, tonight or this weekend would be a good night to go out to your favorite
area falafel / tabouli / humus / baba ghanoush / dolmas / baklava joint, or
to your favorite Afghan restaurant (aushak, pumpkin turnovers) and show
your support.
For you folks who have Entertainment coupon books, many of these kinds of
places are listed in it.
