    Groove Distribution Highlights for 09-24-01

    Well, things should be back to normal now this week. Our freight last
    week was delayed so we decided not to post a new releases list on the
    website therefore this week's new releases list includes several titles
    that we expected to have come in last week. Additionally, a shipment of
    titles listed up a couple of weeks ago that never showed up has now been
    found and is on its way. Those titles are re-listed this week. Here then
    are just a few select highlights from this week's New Releases List. The

    Abstract/Downtempo/Leftfield: Jazzland's Beady Belle has a new 12"
    featuring the tracks "Ghosts" and "Moderation" (label boss Bugge
    Wesseltoft plays keys), a great new downtempo single by Break Reform
    (they were previously featured on the "Gilles Peterson Worldwide"
    compilation) called "Medusa" with a remix by Dynamic Syncopation, new
    Calm 12" on Exceptional, new Earl Zinger (Rob Galliano) 7", new Moss CD
    on Pork, new Mo' Wax 12" by Parsley Sound and the "Now Thing" album full
    of modern electronic dancehall, Pelding album on Jazz Fudge, Soul Kings
    7" on PPQ (Hairy Diamond), new Tony D 12" on Grand Central, the Wagon
    Cookin' 12", and a bunch of compilations: 5AM Eternal on Lacerba,
    Another Late Night mixed by Rae & Christian, Karma Lounge DCD on Echo,
    and the Lounge Deluxe 3 CD.

    Beats 'N' Breaks: New Aquasky vs. Masterblaster 12" on Passenger,
    Chicken Lips "Unreleased Dubs" with remixes of Bentley Rhythm Ace and
    Outcast, choppy breakbeat 12" by DBX & Sugar, new album from the
    Freestylers (only the CD in stock this week), Mains Ignition album (DLP
    and CD) and 7", new Mob single by Moseh Naim split over 2 12"s (one with
    a remix by Koma & Bones), Sir Drew gets remixed by Peace Division and
    Chicken Lips on a new 12" on Kingsize, and the Trinity 12" on Airdog
    with remixes by Deejay Punk Roc and Ming & FS (this was supposed to come
    in already but instead we got sent the Toxteth Renegades 12").

    Drum & Bass: New 12" from Narcotix done by AKA, Covert Operations (Lemon
    D) 12" on Dread, 3 new singles on Reinforced this week from Digital,
    Genotype & Snypolite, and Solar Motion, advance copies of the next
    Certificate 18 single by Future Prophecies, the latest issue of
    Knowledge magazine with Adam F on the cover, a whole heap of Rareform
    12"s, new 12" on Invaderz by Rekoil & Mindmachine, new Suv 12" on Full
    Cycle, TGM (the Green Man) single on Combination, a sampler 12" from the
    forthcoming Teebee album coming on Certificate 18, and the Drum & Bass
    Arena 5LP set on React.

    Hip Hop: Several BDP albums reissued and in stock this week, more copies
    back in of Pete Rock & CL Smooth's "They Reminisce Over You", and the
    latest album on Beat Generation (the BBE spinoff) by the Black Eyed Peas
    own Will I Am.

    House: New Cooly's Hot Box CD on Dome with production by DJ Spinna,
    1-sided white labels featuring the Francois K remix of Dido's "Hunter",
    new Justion (Lionrock) Robertson 12" on Nuphonic, La Cienda Honduras CD,
    Markus Nikolai's "Bushes" gets remixed by Fatboy Slim (it also incls the
    Derrick Carter remix for those that missed it on Classic), new Modjo 12",
    disco house 12" by Sugar Caine on Superbunny, new Sunshine Anderson 12"
    "Lunch Or Dinner" has the prev. promo-only Ben Watt remix of "Heard It
    All Before" on the b-side, new album by Susumu Yakota on Exceptional,
    new 12" on Music For Freaks by Tiger Sprouts, and the Club Nation CD on
    Ministry Of Sound.

    Nu Jazz/Broken Beat: New Allenco Brotherhood 12" on Comet with remixes
    from Cinematic Orchestra and Sonar Kollectiv's Stefan Rogall, new
    Chateau Flight 12" remixed by Peter Kruder (the b-side track feats
    vocals by Osunlade), new Daniel Paul 12" on Sonar Kollectiv, new
    Earthbound 12" on Straight Ahead, new Compost 12" by Intuit, new Kirk De
    Giorgio 12" on Regal and we have the latest Obsessive compilation he
    compiled along with Ian O'Brien, new Micatone 12" with Mighty Bop
    remixing, New World Aquarium 12" on Peacefrog, new Stereo Action single
    on Ya Basta, new Beau Monde 12" by Sunshine State, Victor Davies new 12"
    on JCR, and the excellent Funky Lowlives remixes album (featuring
    remixes they have done along with their own best tracks).

    2-Step/UK Garage: Expensive Artful Dodger 12" called "Twenty Four Seven",
    limited promos of the next Relentless 12" by B-15 featuring Shola Ama,
    City High's "What Would You Do?" gets remixed by the X-Men, more copies
    of the DJ Abstract 12" "Took My Love Away" on DJ Deekline's Rat Records,
    Architechs remix the new Garbage 12" (Felix Da Housecat does a remix for
    the house fans), Maxwell D's "Serious" on 4 Liberty, and the new Shaggy
    12" features a 2-step remix of "Wasn't Me" on the b-side done by Crash &
    Burn.

    Other: Latest issue of Straight No Chaser (with Ursula Rucker on the
    cover) is in stock this week. Also we now add the ultra cool, tough as
    nails, Ultimate DJ Gear Softbags to our selection of records and
    merchandise. These record bags are large and box shaped sort of like a
    flight case made of nylon. Well reviewed and well made and well worth
    picking up if you're looking for a large record bag.
