Anyone feeling their new release? I DEFINITELY am, I bought "Goodbye
Country (Hello Nightclub)" without even taking a test listen and was not
disappointed...it's just as good as the first one, except some of the
'folksy' numbers don't really do it for me. I've been hearing the
ragga/speed garage 'anthem' 'Superstylin'" on the radio, in street
festivals and in clubs for months and not knowing it was the Armada, so
hearing this on the album was serendipity...The last track has a little
trombone quote from "At The River"...cute.
"Vertigo" was my favorite album of 2000 and a major influence on me as a
musician/producer, "Goodbye Country..." might have the same effect...
