    Firstly, my apologies to Erik for putting him in a position
    where by he had to remind me that chain letters were strictly forbidden
    (I hadn't read http://www.cmd.uu.se/AcidJazz/FAQ/netiquette.html ).

    Secondly, my apologies to anyone who took offence to the posting. I
    didn't mean to be in anyway disrespectful.

    Also, at the expense of sounding like I am making excuses for myself, I
    really didn't release it was a hoax until Elson pointed it out (below).

    My first response was that it would be a good idea to get it out to as
    many people as possible with the aim of preventing any kind of war.

    I fully acknowledge that the attacks in NY were inexplicabley cruel, but
    (IMHO) hate only breeds more hate, and war rarely solves anything.
