Real.com has a free encoder, RealProducer Basic. Its not easy to find
in their site, they try to send you to the Plus version, but its
around. Soundforge and alot of other audio editing software will save
files in real format too. I dont know if this goes for live and well as
archived, but you dont need any special software for people to be able
to stream the file, RealServer works better, but Ive found http to works
fine too. Its the hosting and bandwidth that might cost ya
