    They probably wrote it for Sesame Street itself, I know that Toots
    Thielman (the harmonica player) did the theme song. When to a
    concert of his with my Dad--the Sunday Matinee at Yoshi's in Oakland
    where kids get in free (kids from a few months to many years) and we
    all sang a long when he played it out.
