Hi everyone- NO PARTY THIS FRIDAY- we'll be in Seattle @ the EMP space on Saturday from 9PM -12AM, so tell a friend from the Left Coast to check us out-

*We finally got word that the Frying Pan is closed down & now we are asking you to help us take some action! The following link is an on-line petition to re-open the Barge and Ship~

Along with all the fun partying that some of us have enjoyed, please remember that the people reading (or throwing out) these petitions want to hear about the benefits & cultural events that we incorporate into our rump shakin parties. So, here is a list of things you may have attended over the years that you can comment on to illustrate the point that NYC night life is fun & cultural, and it will not deter the good folks from outside the city from coming in and enjoying the safety our big developers, elected officials & Police Force have helped create. Here's just a few~

"Turntables FOR the Hudson" (Friday, September 21, 2000)
Benefit for the Clearwater Organization who brings political awareness & provides education about the various issues concerning the Hudson River. *This benefit included Modern Dancers, Visual Artists, DJ's & Musicians

"Peace & Positivity Through Music" (September 22, 2001)
Squad 1 Benefit Fund, for the families of the Firefighters from Suad 1 in Park Slop Brooklyn who lost loved ones during September 11th

"Lunar New Year Celebrations" (Every February)
3 (to date) Chinese New Year Celebrations including traditional Foods, Dragon Dancing & Drumming

"Turntables on the Hudson Food Drives"
Every winter we have a Food Drive for City Harvest & Los Sures

Turntables on the Hudson "2 Day BBQ & Boogaloo"
    A day & 2 evenings of food dance & World/ Funk/ Jazz Musicians
from all parts of the World
