I have to disagree with you just a wee bit. 1150 is actually a great place
to come hear good music...you just have to know which nights to go.
Jazzanova and Koop have both played there, along with Ben Neill, the Baldwin
Brothers, Soulstice, The Supreme Beings of Leisure, and more. And I
guarantee you will hear great music if you come listen to our set on this
Saturday, back in the 1150 art gallery. And CD Merchants is a great
store...they have the best prices on imports I have seen in this town. Add
in the CD stamp card they offer to get free cds, and it's tops. However,
they don't get a lot of business, so if you are in that part of town, try
and stop by. The downtempo/acid jazz section is adjacent to the listening
bar. The new stuff is on the wall, and the normal stock is in the bins.
They carry lots of Pork releases and have a great little listening post from
    Groove Distribution.
