So now we're actually in a place where the general concensus on the Duplaix
album is disappointment. Surprise surprise... well not, actually... I was
disappointed as well...
The tracks are way too slick and over-produced. It figures that the best
track, I think, is the remix of the single "Looking for love"(the 58 St
thing). The original is good too and produced by 4Hero Marc Mac, so that
figures. I love Vikter Duplaixs other work, so I guess he's just at his best
when other artists produce the beats and lay the foundation. In those
situations, he excels.
Dunno 'bout you guys but I thought the vocals were funnily pathetic too. He
just seems to loose his depth and vision. No doubt will he regain this in
time.
