Wasn't NIN's Trent Reznor heavily involved in Marilyn Manson's Mechanical
Animals? <which by the way, I must confess, although out of our genre on
this list, is a disc I really, really, like.>
I know Reznor was behind Antichrist Superstar, but never really sure what
roll he played in Mechanical Animals if any. But I could definitely see
mixing some of the tracks on this joint with some of what we enjoy in this
genre...more on the electro side though.

Hey Stimp,
i'm a NIN fan too and i'm in this list. i think "The Downward Spiral" is a
quite good record. it's perfect mixture of brutality and silence. that's my
opinion . . . and as long we are not really changing the acid jazz topic i
think it is okay to talk about other music or musicians. that is a way to be
flexible and show other music to other people. really innovative stuff
allways comes from the outside. i know this mail is a bit confusing, but i'm
from germany and very tired, but i hope you will see what i try to express.
bye !
