    Hi Leslie,

Here are some recent beats with a nice boom bip that have been blowing up
    my spot:

DSL - #1 - on GStone there's one song on here in particular, the remix he
did for Peace Orchestra I think, that is just massive. Jazzy vibes and the Impeach
the President beat, thick like molasses.

Burdy - 42 - on Sunshine - jump to the end of the record, the penultimate
song if i'm not mistaken (called keep your chin up, or something like
that), for a rocking downtempo full bodied groover.

Troublemakers - the whole album is dope ("doubts and convictions" on
Guidance) but they just put out a 12" with a remix by Quantic that is
    slamming.

While we're on the subject of Quantic, I have to say, he is on fire. So
many of his mixes popping up, and they've all got perfect drums and funk
vibes. Check his album Apricot Morning, of course, and also his remix of
Capoeira Twins, the 12"s from his album, and the other remixes that are
floating around. His album and 12"s are on Tru Thoughts.

While we're on the subject of Tru Thoughts, they've got some really dope
stuff going on. I recommend their recent label showcase, When Shapes Join
    Together V 3.

Nicola Conte's remix of Suba's Samba Do Gringo Paulista on Ziriguiboom has
a smooth & sweet bossa-hop midtempo vibe, highly recommended.

Also - Dzihan & Kamien's track "Airport" on their latest album is a banger
    but I'm sure u got that already : )

Hope this helps, good luck on your quest!

    Nat
