I looked at the source of some of the blank e-mails and you're right.. Damn
Microsoft and proprietary e-mail formats all to hell!!
Now that we're on the topic of list management, is there any way the list
archive available on the web site could be changed so that e-mail addresses
don't show up as name@domain.com (maybe change to name 'at' domain 'dot'
com)? Cause I created a new e-mail address (quite randomly) for myself and
I've been using it on the list for the past few months, and just recently
I've started receiving junk mail.. So I figure that some e-mail harvesting
program is sucking addresses from the list archive, cause I've never given
this address out to anyone else. Just a though.
By the way Jero, thanks for coming back to the ASCII side of things, you
were missed something awful.
So here's my worst of 2002 list:
1) HTML Formatted e-mails - they suck
Best of 2002 (singles):
1) Defcon 5 and Blue - "Goodbye"
2) Stateless - "Fall Into You"
3) Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings - "What have you done for me lately?"
4) Ms Dyanamite - "Dy-Na-Mi-Tee" (Yoruba Soul rmx)
5) Gang Starr - "Skills"
6) Mr Scruff And Quantic - "It's Dancing Time"
7) Moonstarr featuring Tash - "Movin On" (rmx) (DOPE!!!!)
8) Irfan - "Just A Little Lovin"
9) Circle Research - "Speak 'n Read"
Best albums:
1) RAS - "Rhythmic Altered State"
2) Steretyp - "My Sound"
3) Jurassic 5 - "Power In Numbers"
4) Quantic - "Apricot Morning"
5) Yesterdays New Quintet - Stevie vol. 1
Best compilations:
1) Funk for the 21st Century
2) Madlib - "Blunted in the bomb shelter mix" (if you don't have this, RUN
and buy it)
3) Studio One Story (can't beat a CD chock full of tunes as well as a 4 hour
long DVD!)
4) Peanut Butter Wolf's Jukebox 45's
that's all I can think of for now, although I know I've forgotten tons.
Adam
