>The music world lost a giant today. The Clash were one of the first white

I salute the Clash for injecting Reggae Rhythms into their music and I also
salute Clapton for having the foresight to remake "I shot the Sheriff"
opening the world up to Bob Marley. Though Reggae may have been well known
in other areas of the world I can tell you without a doubt where I grew up
it wasn't well known a'tall. It was bands like The Clash, The Police, and
artists like Eric Clapton, Joe Walsh and Elvis Costello who opened ears up
to the mysticism of Skank.
Merry Christmas and a Very Reggae New Year!!!,
Semper Motociclismo,
Pace'
in their music and the only non reggae
>band to be inducted into the Reggae Hall Of Fame in Jamaica. His legendary
>guitar playing showed the world that Punk Rock can be raw and catchy as
>well. I know I'll miss him.
