He still does his own stuff, and has been successful
in bringing Hawaiian music to the forefront with his

In my recent thrifting adventures, I have seen quite a
few Windham Hill albums as of late. I had always
assumed most of the music was lightweight, but that's

Hill that I should be on the lookout for?

I saw Level 42 in 1987, opening for Madonna. My
sister was (still is) a huge Madonna fan, so we all
went to the Seattle Kingdome. We were up on the top,
and it was hard to see anything. (Fortunately, I
would see Pink Floyd at the Kingdome a few months
later, and the sound was in beautiful quadraphonic).
