Hey there - just wanted to briefly introduce myself to
the list. My name is Nick Rossi, 31, Hammond
organist, bandleader, vocalist, record fanatic,
clothes horse, etc. I've been living in San Francisco
for 12 years now. My group, the Nick Rossi Set,
performs a mix of jazz and R&B heavily influenced by
the likes of Big John Patton, Willie Mitchell, Eddie
Harris, & Brother Jack McDuff and appear a couple
times a month at Club Deluxe on Haight Street. We
have put out a couple of singles (the last being on
London's Blow It Hard Records, also home to the James
Taylor Quartet, les hommes, and the New Mastersounds)
and are working on a full-length CD at the moment.
