I think Matthew Shipp is okay, just not to my tastes.
Jazz wise, been listening to the Joe Harriott/John
Mayer Double Quintet, Charlie Mariano, and Joe Zawinul
as of late.

Scofield has a new album out on Verve, haven't heard
it yet.
MMW are about to come out with a new album this year,
and as always, are on tour already.
