I don't want to make too much of an issue of it, but there is nothing
funny about pedophilia, N-O-T-H-I-N-G! it may seem to be just another word
but it is not and the people who have had their lives scarred by this will
agree with me. When there are so many words, terms and concepts in the
language it seems over the top to use this one and I am sure that BOC
would be shocked at the comparison and use of the word connected to them
in any way at all! Just consider what the word really means, the sexual
abuse of the youngest and most innocent members of our society. This is a
totally predatory act and there is no level of it that is acceptable and
we should be able to rise above using terms like it, even when it might
seem to be amusing because it is really not amusing at all.
