just got this and it's a stunner. i d/l'd mp3's a few weeks ago, and a
couple cursory listens were unsatisfactory, and in retrospect i'd have to
give some weight to the quality of the compressed soundfiles; it was nice
but not amazing or anything. after i finally got a "real" copy on CD i was
instantly hooked -- you really need to cast your assumptions and
expectations to the wind with this one. there is very little of the
club-fodder style so evident on their remix compilation and way more solid
listening music that just gets better and better each time i put it on. many
vocal tunes here, with vikter duplaix getting two appearances among folks
like the ubiquitous ursula rucker plus SF/Philly's own Capital A as well
(who does a wicked job). this is leaning towards best of the year for me
right now, behind the infamous Boards of Canada album, and i'd have to say
it's not only a must-have, but rightly so. any other opinions?
