::: Jesus for Children ::: [www.mp3.com.au/jesusforchildren]
Don't you just hate all those bands that start off by saying "Well,
you can't really classify our music..."?
Well, here's another one. Jesus for Children has it's roots in floor-
shakin', foot-stompin', heads down, funky dance music. But also throw
in elements of jazz, blues, punk, trip-hop, industrial, and God knows
what else and it's...umm.. well, you can't really classify the music.
Whatever it is, it's cool, it's funky, and you'll dance, chill,
groove ya arse off.
It's a lava-lamp of samples, acid, loops, guitars, sugarsweet vocals
and dirt. Born of electronic dance music, it takes aspects of
anything - samples ripped from CDs, nature, industry, absolutely
anything - and blends 'em into some of the funkiest, dirtiest,
danceable, laid-back rhythms you're likely to hear.
And then chuck in contributions from an ever-evolving brew of
musicians whose excellent, eclectic work is overdosed in effects and
generally suffers severe degradation from master butcher, Marc Wright.
Marc, a veteran of non-commercial, underground music in all its
forms, actually can't play any instruments.
But, Hell yeah! He can weild a mean computer!!
[Jesus for Children is looking for an independant, like-minded label
interested in releasing this material. Available for immediate
release are two albums worth of music (21 tracks) as well as 6
professional video clips]
