Aloha from the land of tumbleweed, where we just had a
major hailstorm in 97 degree weather, dropping to a
nice 65 in just 15 minutes. Pretty freaky, huh?
======
Okay, nuff B.S. I am coming out with the next two
installments in my WEEK 12" REMIX SERIES, the singles
for "lull (thursday)" and the song that received the
most attention from the WEEK album, "maryse's morning
(saturday)".
As with the first two installments, there are remixes
of each on the B-side. "lull (thursday)" is given the
"Absence Of Breath" treatment (nice one!) courtesy of
Scotland's own 2root2. the 3am eternal vibe of
"maryse's morning (saturday)" is taken into an
afternoon dreamstate with the help of upcoming L.A.
producer DMO.
Each 12" single will be $9.50ppd within the U.S. and
Canada, one copy of each 12" will go for $16.50ppd
(all records will be shipped First Class Priority).
Only 100 copies of each will be made, a portion of
them will be sent out as promos to you radio DJ
people.
-----
Unlike the first two 12" singles, which were more
dance-oriented, these two are more downtempo in
nature. Maybe tomorrow, I'll do an entire
interpolation of Ma$e's or Total's debut albums, and
call myself "Worder Stinc."
For more information, including MP3 samples of the
remixes, click to john-book.com/Crut/crut19remixes.htm
Also, if any of you are interested in releasing my
Buns Ke'ia tracks as a 45, let me know. I have
someone in Seattle who may be designing a possible
sleeve for it so, unless I win the Lotto...
Nuff. Go eat some chili & rice.
