I don't believe any of the Herbert originals and remixes qualify for tech
house
nor detroit house is considered tech house
detroit house is stuff like Theo Parrish, Moodyman, Recloose, Common Factor,
Norma Jean Bell and guys like that
tech house on the other hand is Terry Francis, Colin Dale, 6400 Crew and
guys like Tony Thomas, Hipp-e & Halo and the like
what differs tech house from techno and house is its more beat oriented
house is more groove and melodies, techno is faster and has les melodies but
sort of a locked groove feel, and tech house is slightly faster than house
with more techy snares and drum programming
