I apologise for the off-topic nature of this post, but I'm rather desperately
searching for an answer to this question.
I'm using Cool Edit Pro V.2 to record mixes and then burning the resulting
file onto CD. My difficulty is finding the proper settings for maximised
audio quality on the CD. So far, my CDs always sound canny and artificial
when played on conventional CD players and are vastly inferior to the quality
of sound I achieved using an old copy of Musicmatch and recording directly to
MP3. Meanwhile, the sound quality is always fine when I listen to it through
Cool Edit before burning to CD.
Any advice?
Thanks,
Dan
