Liquid Todd Nominated for 'Best Radio DJ'
Liquid Todd has been nominated in the Best Radio DJ category in the
DanceStar 2002 US Dance Awards - scheduled to be held in Miami Beach on
March 24th at the Jackie Gleason Theater as part of the Winter Music
Conference. This will the be the first time the UK-based Dancestar awards
have been presented in America. Liquid Todd was previously nominated in the
Best Radio DJ category in the 2001 Dancestar World Dance Awards which took
place in London. Only American artists were considered in the US Dancestar
Awards nominations process which was significantly shorter than the
international version. The US awards were "culled from the minds of dance
music luminaries" - whatever that means. Winners of the international
Dancestar awards are chosen by the people in the form of votes cast on
the Dancestar website. The other nominees in the Best Radio DJ category are
Swedish Egil, Jason Bentley, Richard "Humpty" Vission and Bad Boy Bill (who
currently does not have a radio show). You can learn more and download the
entire winners list on the Dancestar website and at liquidtodd.com.
