We are a small grass-roots arts organization in Big Sur, California. For
seven years we have been producing a killer festival.
This year we have a few performers who I thought might particularly apeal to
readers of this forum.
Omar Sosa will be appearing with his septet on Sunday, and with his
overpowering piano styleing and incredible energy, it is going to be the
highlight of my weekend anyway.
On Friday night a band from San Francisco Bitches Brew will be performing
their covers of Miles Davis numbers enhanced with their underlying hip-hop
rhythm styling.
